My Gavin

My son, Gavin, is the joy in my life. The moment he was born, my whole life was changed. I no longer lived for me, I began living for him. He became my life. It's amazing how I can be having an awful day and all it takes is for my son to wrap his arms around me and all else is forgotten. He's brought me so much happiness, in such a short time. It's funny how I can think back to when he was a newborn and recall every tiny little detail about him as if it were yesterday. God blessed me with a wonderful, healthy, happy son, and I am so thankful for that gift. I could not even begin to imagine my life without him. He is truly my pride and joy. My heart.

This year is bringing about many new beginnings...

Jurene my 2nd born niece is graduating from Hancock High and I am at loss for words. I am so excited for her and the road that lies before her, but at the same time I am saddened. Time has just passed in the blink of an eye, and Juren-e-Poo is all grown up. I know that she's got a bright future ahead of her. I am so very proud of who she is and the woman she is yet to be. I pray for the very best for her, she truly deserves nothing less. I love you!

Payton, Hannah, and Gavin

These three younguns are a blast to be with. They are so comical, even when they are not trying to be. Cousins. Best of pals. They hold my heart! This session was a little rushed, but it was still a blast!

Steph & Hailey

There's so much that I could say about these two. I have watched Hailey grow from a bashful, shy little girl that clings to her mommy for security to an independent, spunky, sassy, classy, cheerful, happy....young lady! She loves her mommy! Life has dealt these two a hard hand, but I honestly can say, they both have an enormous amount of inner strength. They are surrounded by so many who love them and I think that's what helps them through the hard times. Not only that, but I know they have a guardian an angel who watches over and protects them always. I am grateful to have these two in my life and to have been touched by them. Love you both.

The little things in life...

Often life gets so busy for us, that we often don't slow down and take note of the little things. Instead we focus on the bigger things and before you know it, life has passed us by. While doing this shoot on the creek of Brennan and Baleigh, it hit me. These are the little things that truly are the Big Things. Seeing him look up at his big sister and her looking down at her little brother, brought tears to my eyes. This is what life is all about. These are the moments that we will hold close to us and cherish forever. I was so blessed by capturing this moment, I just had had to share it. Slow down in life, don't let those little things pass you by.

Blake

Blake is my nephew, my brother Duke's, son. I had the privilige of attending one of his archery competition's in Gainesville, Florida. It was astounding to see him shooting his targets with such accuracy. During this competition, he had a couple shots that set him back, but he hung in there and gave it his best foot forward. I am so very proud of him.

Another one of my most favorite subjects to photograph, Kelsey. She is a complete NATURAL! She has an amazing smile, but it's the more serious moments that mesmerize me. It's those moments when the world seems to stand still and you reach this deepness in Kelsey. That's when it becomes breathtaking. I love working with her.

Baleigh

Baleigh was my start at photography, years ago. It all started just for fun, but after developing film, yes film, I realized that I had an eye for it and enjoyed it tremendously! Baleigh and I have had many more shoots and it's been an amazing journey. I love what I capture when I am with her. This is just a creative fun piece I created for her.
